I'm Sumit Garg. I build distributed search systems for a living, and focus on search infrastructure and developer experience. I read widely, run long distances, and tinker constantly: interactive physics explainers, a search engine course from scratch, a Kannada app for Bangalore newcomers, a maths game I'm building with my kid.

Everything tends toward disorder. This site is my way of pushing back, collecting what I read, writing down what I think, and sharing what I build before it scatters.

The Library is curated articles on mental models, decision-making, and clear thinking — annotated and AI-enriched with summaries and concept mapping. Thoughts are original essays on systems, learning, and making sense of complexity. Explainers are interactive visual walkthroughs of physics, math, and AI concepts.
